- Overview
Responsible to the Automation Supervisor to carry out troubleshooting , planned and corrective maintenance of Field and Control Room Automation Systems following Company Safety and Environmental Standards
Responsibilities
To perform planned maintenance, trouble shooting, inspections, repairs and overhauls of Pneumatic and Electronic Instruments (measurement and control) and systems.
- To maintain in good condition tools, test equipment and workshop equipment.
- To properly document and accurately report all maintenance, repairs, overhauls, adjustments and inspections
- Assist, if requested, in the selection and requisition of appropriate spares parts and materials
- Meet or exceed JOC HES targets (zero LTI)
- Meet or exceed annual production targets
- Meet or exceed annual OPEX and CAPEX budget targets
- Fully execute annual mechanical integrity program
- Fully implement CMMS and insure >95% of activates are performed under work order
Qualifications
Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in Instrumentation & Control.
- 8 - 10 years Oil & Gas industry experience
- Knowledge of Pneumatic and Electronic Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of ATEX, hazardous area classifications and equipment
- Comprehensive knowledge of the hazards associated with hydrocarbon systems
- Ability to use computer systems
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Environmental legislation and practices
- Ability to work well with others and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of national and international standards
- Good communication skills -
