Senior Construction Engineer - Bahrain
- Location: Awali, Bahrain
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Long Term
- Rotation: 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off
- Salary: Negotiable
- Flights, Apartment, Car, Mobile Telephone at Client Expense
- Working for Major Operator
- Previous Oil, Gas, Petrochem exp essential
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrably adheres to company guiding principles
- Actively contributes to departmental and organizational goals
- Directs and supervises all workers, visitors and equipment in or around their construction sites
- Pro-actively implements safe working practices and creates a healthy and safe working environment
- Reviews engineering deliverables for constructability and operability
- Pro-actively identifies opportunities to reduce cost, time and schedule
- Pro-actively identifies opportunities to avoid downtime and improve availability
- Plays a key role in Management of Change and Process Risk Management programs
- Plays a key role in improving and enhancing construction contracts
- Continually interfaces with other operational functions and develops efficient and effective integrated plans
- Manages vendors and suppliers
- Manages materials and equipment deliveries
- Assigns tasks to inspectors and support staff
- Represents Client in all correspondence with contractors and suppliers
- And other duties as assigned by your supervisor-
