  • Mission:
    Identifies, within the context of defined strategies, opportunities for the development of new industrial and commercial initiatives which are of interest to the Group.
    Identifies within medium-long term strategic and/or Integrated projects and selects the most attractive project that are to be pursued.
    Prepare the Strategic Business Development Plan.
    Monitors the market trends and the commercial promotion Action.
    Tasks:
    Monitors the business environment through the participation in meetings, conferences and events that can favour the contact with Clients; identifies new initiatives consistent with Group strategies and objectives.
    2) Builds, develops, maintains and fosters productive relationships with Oil&Gas Companies and Energy Institutional Entities.
    3) Enhances the whole range of business activities through fit-for-purpose capabilities presentations, unlocks the know-how of Group, particularly the EPCI potential and the full range of services the Group can provide to Clients.
    4) Reports and advises the Management on business plans and analyses concerning projects, countries or unattended geographical areas. Indicates opportunities of investment and strategic partnerships, if necessary stipulates co-operation / confidentiality agreements.
    5) Carries out all required pre-bid commercial and technical actions for selected medium-long term projects including identification and establishment of agreements / strategic alliances and preliminary definition of the contractual / financial bases, also activating all needed Company functions such as engineering, financial, assets, procurement, R&D, planning, procurement. Report to Management and interface with the relevant BU's / Resident Area managers. Acts as focal point for the Client.
    6) Identifies and executes conceptual / feasibility studies on specific projects to support Client strategic decisions and Group's commercial action towards the Client.
    7) Secures the most effective and timely handover of the commercial initiative to the relevant BU(s) and supports the BU(s) throughout the bid and negotiation phases. Obtains feedback from the BU(s) on strategic project execution and results.
    8) Executes specific development projects assigned to the Group Strategic Business Development in terms of specific project opportunities, entry in new markets, investments and strategic agreements.
    9) Interfaces and cooperates with the Business Units and with the Resident Area Managers for strategic and/or integrated projects to ensure co-ordination and synergy of the overall Group business development and pre-bid commercial activities.
    10) Monitors market trends with respect to technology needs and developments. Proposes and supports the activation of R&D projects as indicated by market trends and specific projects requirements.
